Dear colleague

Under auspices of the European Commission and the European Forum for
Integrated Environmental Assessment (EFIEA) we organise a SUMMERCOURSE
on INTEGRATED ASSESSMENT with the KEY experts from all over Europe on
modelling, scenarios, participatory methods, risk & uncertainty
analysis and on the policy dimension of integrated assessment (this is
NO exaggeration or empty advertisement).

It will be a very ACTIVE course in which you actively explore what a
sustainable Europe could imply with help of methods taught in the
course. The course is to be held in the EUROPEAN CITY of MAASTRICHT
(the Netherlands). An excursion to the hall where the MAASTRICHT
TREATY was signed belongs to the program.

The summercourse is of interest to AMBITIOUS European graduate,
post-graduate and PhD interdisciplinary students.

The course will take place from the 30th of August to the 17th of
September. Although it should not be important for your decision: THE
COURSE IS FREE OF CHARGE (due to sponsoring of the European
Commission). Housing (on a hotel boat in the river Meuse), meals,
equipment, lecture material, etc. is provided. You just have to pay
the travelling costs.
